Okay, then another post. My last post is rather jammed with comments. I'll finish that conversation (for the moment) with this: you guys both know him, but unless you think outside the box you won't get it. 8)

I finished school super early today. Like, before 1:00! At first I was like, "Wow, this is nice, more time to just do stuff." Then my mom kicked me off the computer, my writing skills jumped out the window, and so here I am again back on the comp. Waiting to leave for the LIBRARY! I love that place. Makes me smarter.

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow for an MRI on my finger. Never had one of those before, (the MRI, not the finger) so that should be interesting. The only thing I know so far is that I'm not allowed to wear any metal. Aw, durn, gotta take out all my facial piercings. jk don't got none of those.

Later, same day, I'm going to the Teen Library Council meeting. Dad's convinced it's going to be an Obama indoctrination hour, but I think it looks pretty harmless. Basically just planning stuff like a reading week or a field trip. I will probably be the oldest kid there, but I hope it's not going to be just junior high kids...and one senior. XP

Oh guess what!!!!!! I got an email back about volunteering at the library fo shiz! I have a meeting on Monday morning to figger out a schedule of volunteer hours for me. I'm really REALLY happy about this. If anybody's got to get some books for something or other, make sure you come talk to me! I can wait to put books in shelves, help people find stuff, and "sh!" all the obnoxious children. hehehe not even kidding.

Today in writing class I was supposed to write the best compliment someone has ever given me. I finally settled on something Bama said a year or so ago, but it was rather disconcerting how long I had to think before I remembered someone saying something nice about me. No worries, though, I'll be a great, mature person in the future to make up for it. Or as close as someone like me can get....

*eep* I think I just smeared eyeliner all over my nose. Durnit.

Jeff let's write a list of all the people we know, than we can compare the list and see who's left. The thing is I know hardly anybody.

Finished at 1, yeah! It took me 'til 1:40... I love college :-)

What happened to your finger?

Just as long as you don't fit the librarian cliche. Don't look over you glasses at anyone, don't act like I'm trying to steal FREE books, and don't ask me who the author of the book is because I will never know.

You keep bringing up being immature and trying to be a mature person. What, in your opinion, is a mature person? Because all the mature people I know are dead.

At 6:05 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

Alright Caleb, lets do it! Someone has to start first tho, so we don't have a bunch of repeats.

You made a really good point in my opinion, too. What really does determine if someone is "mature".. No one I know is really mature when I think about it, and that's why I like being around them. It's not like they're stupid and have no life experience whatsoever, but they actually have personalities which is cool. And if everyone needed to be mature to have certain things done, half the people I know would be nowhere -_-

At 6:32 PM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

And I think half of the fun is when you watch how couples mature together.

I shall list the guys I can think of now (without last name since they may not want to be identified).

James
Tyler
Jeff (had to put that there)
Jordan
Brian
Jason

Aaagh my mind is not thinking of names. I could give my list after the men's retreat :-)

Just add to the list Jeff. I'll remove names I don't recognize and you will remove names that I put that you don't recognize (if that is somehow possible).

Emily what size should I make this tree suit?

At 6:44 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

lol, tree suit.. for some reason it's still funny to me lol.

What, why am I in there. That's like saying Nasa really did put a man on the moon.. did they? Uhh, anyway, here's my additions:

Caleb (yea had to put you in there :p)
Another Jordan

I think you, and then my two, covers most the bases, but it's time for church so I gotta gooooo.

At 7:21 PM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

Alright here's the running list:
James X
Tyler
Jeff
Jordan
Brian
Jason
Caleb
Another Jordan

If any should be added let me know.

Now Jeff do any of these people already have a girl or do they obviously have a personality conflict with Emily?
When we get those sorted through than we will start eliminating the names. Than that person that wins will get a free invite to our fraternity until he (A) breaks Emily's heart or (B) get's in a relationship. In either case he will be kicked out so this is his last chance.

PS. Emily hopefully we aren't offending you. If you want this to stop you could just help us pick the name :D

At 12:00 AM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

None of these people, to my knowledge, are in a relationship. I've only nominated guys I've thought were single cuz why would a girl like a taken guy? (that question isn't meant to be answered cuz I know it happens and that's sad for other singles..) Tyler's taken tho, so I think it's safe to remove his name here.

I did think of two more since being at church tonight: Ben and Ryan.

Hmm, yea, I'm having bad thoughts about this game we're playing.. Maybe we should just end it. Altho slightly intriguing.. maybe it's not a good idea..

At 1:15 AM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

I still can't find much wrong with tree costumes and singles' hangouts tho..

At 10:08 AM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

Fine we'll kill the game, and wait just like everybody else.

Yeah I guess we could of removed your name too, it'd be hard to use the costume if that meant you'd have to cut down yourself.

Problem with the fraternity is I'd probably have to drive 3-4 hours just to get to it! But if we made it a singles hangout than Emily could come for just a little bit longer :D

Ok Emily since we're not playing the game anymore, how about you keep dropping hints (like one a day) and when we guess who he is than that's when you tell him?

At 11:02 AM PDT , Blogger emily...♫ said...

Your game is so hilariously intricate! Too bad you dropped it. Here's your next hint: make that list again of everybody you mentioned, and yes he is on there.

At 11:10 AM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

Yea how would I cut myself down lol. I mean I hit myself with a sledge hammer a few days ago, so I'm becoming better at swinging tools towards my body, but to sit there and chainsaw my legs, that'd hurt.

Dude, we can just have the hangout up in Washington! I loved it up there, and sometimes it's nice to get out of Oregon for a tiny bit. Besides I love driving so that'd be cool.

.. On that list huh. That's not too many people to choose from.

At 11:26 AM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

Hmmm is this Emily giving us her permission?

Current List:
Ben
Brian
Caleb
James
Jason
Jeff
Jordan 1
Jordan 2
Ryan

Personally I'd like to see Jeff in a tree costume with a chainsaw in his hand. Where's photoshop when I need it?

I've been trying to get you guys up here for a long time. There was talk of doing it last summer but nothing happened. Jeff could drive all these guys and Emily up here and we could have the first official "meeting".

At 11:35 AM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

That'd be fun.. except I wouldn't do it cuz Emily would be the only girl surrounded by dudes and I wouldn't approve of that. Plus I'd have to pile like 4 people in my truck bed lol, might catch the eye of some troopers. They'd probly slam me with their radar guns.

Do you know what you're saying Caleb!? hehe. Me in a tree costume. People could blackmail me so much with that :p

At 11:48 AM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

That's np, Emily will still be with the guy of her dreams. She could bring along a single girlfriend if she wants. Idk, when are you going to get your license Emily?

Yeah Jeff I do know what I'm saying and if I wasn't stuck inside a library I'd be laughing hysterically right now :D

At 1:55 PM PDT , Blogger emily...♫ said...

Honestly, this is really interesting to me how your minds work! XD

Caleb can officially cross off a few names on the list that he guessed today.

At 2:02 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

I'm not gonna guess, cuz I think I may know who it is (given I'm usually wrong about this type of thing). After seeing things at church for awhile and giving it some thought, and after playing dumb on here for a while.. I have a decent guestimate.

Locked it up and threw the key away.. unless I can find it someday.

At 2:17 PM PDT , Blogger Megan said...

wow this is really interesting, no offense but you guys are either really oblivious or just playing like you don't know.
it's almost sad how obvious it is yet it's still so hilarious to watch you try to figure it out haha!

At 2:27 PM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

And how in the world would I know Megan? I'm WAY up here. My vision is not that good :-)

But I shall know in a couple more days...

At 2:27 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

I think this might fall into the category of 'things I want to know but then don't really want to know cuz the answer could be shocking in any way'. Maybe we're oblivious AND playing dumb. I don't really know anymore. Why is it always so obvious to other people lol. Besides, what would happen anyway.. *explodes into confusion*

At 2:31 PM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

Megan you cannot comment you already know. Now let us have some fun :-)

Well I'm not playing I just am dumb ;-)

At 2:33 PM PDT , Blogger Megan said...

maybe it's so obvious to me because I know Em so well. That tends to happen with us, we can usually figure stuff out fairly easily without even talking to each other about it.

At 2:39 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

LOL Caleb. I say the same thing about myself but I can't be original now cuz you said it first ;)

That's got to be unfair somewhere in the rulebooks, Megan. I can't do that with hardly anybody! I wish I could just look at someone and read parts of their brains, but not all of it. It's like yer connected at the mind.

At 2:51 PM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

You know what, I don't think I'd ever want to read someone's brain. I mean most people I meet I don't want to know what they think of me.

That's ok Jeff, we're part of the same Fraternity now we can say the same things as each other and bore everyone as much as we want :D

Get that chainsaw sharp because this tree suit is almost done!!!

At 3:54 PM PDT , Blogger Janelle said...

Alright, so what's the current list of choices? ;-p

At 5:19 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

Ye-.. Yea, good point Caleb. I guess there's really only a few things I'd like to know if someone was thinking, but most other times I doubt I'd really want to know all. And I love boring people!! Not really, but I figure if there's one thing I could excel at, maybe that could be it ha. I'm just so good at sitting there :p

I got a new chain for the saw a week ago so.. slice N dice! We should probly build a cast iron suit for me so I don't mince myself up, unless I'm first up in the tree costume.

At 5:23 PM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

hahaha Jeff. If you get the costume than I would be more than happy to hold the chainsaw for you :D (actually if it comes to that Emily would probably be the one holding the chainsaw).

How 'bout you give me his dimensions Emily that way we can make the suit the right size.

At 9:00 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

Whichever needs to be done ha XD

At 9:50 PM PDT , Blogger Megan said...

why the tree suit again??? this is becoming ridikalusly complicated lol! why not just like play 20 questions or something....

At 9:51 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

I was just thinking as I'm waiting to go to work.. this kinda makes me giggle now cuz all these past 40 comments started just by me saying I thought it was sad (from a singles' perspective) how everyone's taken.

Pretty interesting.

At 9:54 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

It's a very involving, intricately coordinated suit, Megan. It's vitally important to this undergoing survey! And now I'm done with big words. 20 questions could be cool, but it might go too fast.

At 10:08 PM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

You know Jeff my church is full of single people. Practically everyone is single. I'm sure you could come up and take your pick. We have some that are getting quite desperate (there are quite a few more women in our church than men).

At 6:54 AM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

Then why are you still single? It's not like yer shy heh. That idea sounds enticing :p but I love this new church I go to way too much to leave. That's odd that there's more women in yer church than dudes, cuz almost everywhere else I've been it's the opposite. Huh.

At 9:57 AM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

Well you probably have more guys since all the girls are at my church. Just because there are available girls doesn't mean I want to take them. When I get a girlfriend I don't want to settle for second rate. And there is only one girl that I want to have be my girlfriend and she isn't at my church.

At 9:58 AM PDT , Blogger emily...♫ said...

*reading all the comments with fascination*

At 12:27 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

Sounds like you got yer mind set. I used to worry about settling for second rate, but I don't care about that anymore. Just being with someone whom I can grow in the Lord with and joyfully spend the rest of my life with after God makes it obvious the person is right.. that's all I care about. The person, whoever she is, will be perfect for me even if she could be considered "second rate" in some way.

Now we could turn this into "Who does Caleb like??" :p

At 12:36 PM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

What I mean by second rate is, when I get a girl I want her to be my favorite girl in the whole world. Second rate would be. I love this person but she doesn't like me so I'll talk you instead.

Let me rephrase what I said. There are no girls in my church that I could see ever spending the rest of my time with. There are some very nice girls who are very Christian. But is it greedy to want the girl that stands out of the pack of every girl you've ever met?

The thing is I'm not one of those guys that stands out so those girls never seem to like me :O

But my prayer to God is that some day one will and that, my friend, is when I will leave this fraternity :-)

At 12:50 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

Hey I know how you feel, dude. Almost the exact same way. Ok, I think I get ya know. Second rate would be more like just another friend type thing, right.

I probly wouldn't call it greedy, but I'd ask you how long yer gonna wait to find that mutual match looking in that way, with those requirements.

In my past life I've wasted so much time and energy thinking about other people in uh special ways, and now I've probly told too many people who I like now.. Wishing the girl that stands out will notice the guy who doesn't stand out, is definitely pleasant thinking and all that.. but wow is it rare.

At 1:20 PM PDT , Blogger Caleb said...

Yes but imagine what just one "Yes" would do?

Well I'm 18. I have a few friends who were married at my age but for the most part I still have some time. The thing is, I don't want to be with a girl, I want to be with THE girl.

I ask God many times a day to protect and keep safe the girl he has for me, and I have full confidence that he will. It's kind of nice when I no longer need to worry.

God knows the person I'm going to marry and he said "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you." I will take him at his word and keep on asking, seeking, and knocking. It's not a matter of if the door will be opened, but when.

At 2:00 PM PDT , Blogger Jeff said...

It'd mean the world.
