Okay, I'm putting a new post on here, even though I got no responses to the last one. But I still want you guys to comment on that one. The end, especially, is rather important. I'm only posting this one because Ethan tagged me. Never done this before, but here goes:

1. I am a firm believer that Pepsi is the work of the devil. I haven't tasted it in 3 years, and never will again.

2. I like tragic movies. Last night I cried during Little Women when Beth died...this makes, what, the bazillionth time?

3. I don't play a lot of video games, but I'm pretty good at Super Smash Brothers Melee. When I play as Shiek, every other player goes like, "Aw, come on, Emily! That's not fair!"

4. Harry Nillson is my favorite song writer. Yes, he's dead, but he had a genius for lyricism.

5. I don't just laugh when something funny happens, I laugh when I'm happy. Sometimes I laugh in dead silence, and everyone stares...embarrassing.

6. I have glasses. Okay, most people who read this would know that, but I don't think Ethan did. Did you?

I now tag...um, the only people who comment on here are Ethan and Danna, and Ethan just tagged me (I'm assuming tag-backs are nixed) and Danna doesn't have a blog. So what do I do now?

Joy to the world, the Christmas decorations are up.

Okay, I know it doesn't really go like that, but looking at how amazing our house looks, it fits. My mom did a spectacular job of the lights, and our Christmas village is beautiful. The bathroom is even decorated to the hilt! But on more important things...

My Thanksgiving was fantabulous. Yes, I made that word up, but at least I didn't say anything like, "dramastically" or "liberetical" or "splendorful." All of those lovely words were created by different people in my church, bless their hearts. Just one of the many things that make life interesting.

Although, I've been kinda mopey, because I haven't gotten any emails lately, being that Robbie's outta school, Michelle's family is sick or something, and Bek is just being lazy. And Ethan was at Devil's Lake or something. Did I get it right?

Quiz practice was pathetic today, cuz nobody studied. I mean, come on, it's Thanksgiving Break, who takes time to study? So practice consisted mostly of Jordan talking about Disney World (lucky dog got to go for his birthday) and Robbie elbowing me in the ribs. On purpose. For no reason whatsoever. Isn't he so lovable?

But singing practice went great! I'm singing 2nd soprano, and since the only other 2nd soprano wasn't there, I had to go it alone, and it was hard. But I pulled through, and Mrs. Smith said that I did great! I've also been practicing a song on my own time. "You Raise Me Up," by Josh Groban. That guy has such a dreamy voice! <3 <3 <3

Hey, check out God's Girl today, because I have a question for you all to answer for me.

Um...it said that there were three comments, which I really wanted to read, but when I clicked, it didn't show any. So, I'm sorry if anybody had something important to say, because I couldn't read it. There's a lot of weird things going on with my blogs. :P

Today my family went to The Santa Claus 3. It was actually kind of cute! Not exactly my fave genre of movie, but it was more just to do something as a family than for the movie. A movie that I can't wait to come out is Night in the Museum. That looks hilarious!!!!! Ben Stiller is so funny. For anybody who likes silly, weird humor, I highly recommend Mystery Men, which is about a bunch of guys who think they're superheroes, but are really just a bunch of nerdy wanna-bes. I doubt that Ethan, Beth, or Danna would appreciate it. You guys are too intellectual. :)

The ladies' retreat was a blast!!!! I'd describe what we did, but I think I already said most of it (condensed) on Beth's Lothlorien blog. Which is more of a conversation than a blog. But it's cool, we talk about good stuff. Like time travel. ;)

I changed the Jane Austen blog to a general book blog. Any member can now suggest a book they like, put up discussion questions, or whatever, and it's not limited to any one author. That should make it easier!

The quiz rally is on Friday!!!! Pray for us, that we wouldn't just do it for the competition. And pray for me, that I have patience with all the annoying newbies!!!! Actually, it's not so bad. It's just that Robbie, Jordan, and Bryan are so distracting with all their jokes, and it's hard to pay attention to the quiz coach when I'm laughing. :D

Blogger needs to put emoticons on here. That would be fun.

Okay, I take it back. You guys haven't abandoned me, I've just been writing boring stuff that nobody wants to comment on, right? Whatever, you guys, be that way. No, jk.
The ladies' retreat is on Friday, and I can't wait!!! A whole weekend of girl-talk, no chores, and spending time in God's word! Can't get any better.
Today I'm going to the library to get books on Queen Victoria. That's who I've chosen for my research paper I'm doing. Pretty far cry from what I did the last two papers! For those who don't know, they were about Stonewall Jackson and separation of church & state. Well, I actually still have half my schoolday left, so I'll go do that before my mom gets home. Shhhh, don't tell her I was on here! ;)

*sigh* You guys have abandoned me...am I talking to nobody, now?

Yes, I know, Megan, you're computer is slow.
Yes, I know, Danna, you're too busy with kids.
Yes, I know, Ethan, you're too busy with farming.

Excuses, excuses. Well, I have to talk to somebody, so I'll say it to anybody who's listening. Last night was fun and sad. Fun because I got to go to Robbie's football game and talk to Megan while we sat on the bleachers. Even though it was pouring down rain.
It was sad because the other team won (ha ha, I'm giving no specifics!) and we were so close!!! But that's not the worst of it. Afterwards, we all went to dinner, and Robbie was extremely depressed. He barely spoke, and when he finally started talking to Megan and me, my sister's brainless friends started saying, "There's no reason to be sad, Robbie." "It's just a game, Robbie." "You guys were really close, it's too bad you didn't win, Robbie." And he shut up again. I wanted to strangle them!!! I hate seeing my friends upset, especially somebody like him, who is always happy and fun. Well, maybe spending a weekend at the church men's retreat will cheer him up.
Bek might be visiting from...er, up north. And she might get to spend the night at my house on Saturday! We'll have a blast. We'll watch S&S...or Little Secrets...or The Lake House!!! Well, I still have homework, so buh-bye, and you guys better comment this time!!!!
